My Dazzle, a Facebook community powered by XERMELO, was intended to provide community and support for CSD patients and caregivers on their medical journey. However, after being dormant for ~2 years, and falling out of (Facebook algorithm) favor, My Dazzle became socially lifeless, leaving its 13k+ followers with nothing to follow. Simply, we needed to start anew.
My role spanned concept planning, brand board development, client presentations, logo design, desktop and mobile Facebook Profile icon design, Facebook page design, post creative and animation.
REBRAND
Even though there was high desire to contemporize the approach, we took the opportunity to infuse connective, generational hints to the audience. With an updated brand guideline, My Dazzle was on its way to an 80s revival.

PERSONIFICATION
Based on analytics, female patients and/or caregivers age 65+ are the most engaged—spending an average of 33 minutes a day on the platform—and seeking disease state and symptom guidance. Positivity and inspiration geared toward fellow CSD patients/caregivers was most often seen in comments and posts.
COMMUNICATION STRATEGY
To generate inherent equity and anticipatory engagement we created three communication, and share-worthy, platforms as main drivers—The Dazzle Diner, The 5 Es of CSD, and Share with Care. An orchestrated posting cadence (lifestyle-wellness-brand support-inspiration flow), complimented by a paid boosting strategy, stimulated a consistent flurry of interest.
PERFORMANCE
In a two-week span, we generated astounding numbers that prompted the brand to further invest in efforts: 3.1k new followers (+22%), >98k reached (+5,000%), 1.2k link clicks (+6,216%), and 1k minutes viewed (+675%).
